This Privacy Policy explains what information Kleanledger ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use the Kleanledger invoicing and business-management application (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Kleanledger is operated by Zeecomedia Tech Enterprises (Nigeria). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@kleanledger.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Account information you provide your full name, business name, email address, and password when you sign up.
- Business data you create in the Service client names and contact details, invoices, payments, expenses, recurring billing items, and reports you enter or generate while using Kleanledger.
- Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, your card payment is processed directly by Paystack. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or PIN. We do receive and store a subscription reference, transaction reference, and payment status from Paystack so we can activate and manage your subscription.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (creating invoices, tracking payments, generating reports, etc.)
- To send transactional emails email verification, invoice delivery to your clients on your behalf, payment receipts, and team invitations
- To process subscription payments and manage your billing status
- To respond to support requests
- To detect, investigate, and prevent technical issues, fraud, or abuse of the Service
We do not sell your personal information or your clients' information to third parties.
4. Who we share information with
We do not share your data with advertisers, and we do not use your business or client data to train third-party models.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your company data within [e.g. 30 days], except where we're required to retain records for longer to comply with tax, accounting, or legal obligations.
6. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access, correct, or export the data stored in your account
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you
To exercise any of these rights, email support@kleanledger.com. These rights are provided in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level access controls on our database so companies can only see their own data, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and local storage
Kleanledger uses your browser's local storage to remember your login session and theme preference (light/dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children's privacy
Kleanledger is a business tool intended for use by adults running or working for a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
